This durable date due card contains the security label (either 8.2MHz, 9.5MHz or 10MHz dependent on your security system).  When the card is inserted into the poly pocket to issue the item, the two security labels mask each other and the frequency signal emitted by the labels is altered, preventing the system from alarming.

Should a borrower try to re-enter the library, to make an unauthorised removal of an item using the same date due card, the security system will be activated.
